TB-500 is based on the active region of Thymosin Beta-4, a protein involved in actin regulation — a building block of cell structure and movement. In research models it is studied for cell migration, flexibility of connective tissue, and systemic (whole-body) recovery signaling.
Where BPC-157 is often described in research as more localized, TB-500 is studied for broader, systemic distribution. The two are frequently investigated together in the literature and in the research community, which is why blends exist.
