Independent research on Tesamorelin. Our sister publication Peptides Uncaged maintains a plain-English research guide covering mechanism, the published literature, and how vendors are scored on purity and COA transparency. It is written independently of any lab. How to read a COA is worth ten minutes before your first order.
The research

What Tesamorelin is being studied for

Tesamorelin is a growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) analog that increases IGF-1 levels in both men and women. It binds to and stimulates GHRH receptors with similar potency as endogenous GHRH. Other benefits include nootropic effects and reducing triglycerides. Tesamorelin has subsequently been shown to decrease carotid intima-medial thickness (cIMT), visceral adipose tissue (VAT), and c-reactive protein (CRP).

Clinical trials have shown that Tesamorelin significantly reduces abdominal fat. Additionally, it can improve cognitive function for seniors and patients with an increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease, due to mild cognitive impairment.
