How quality is verified

How Research-Peptide Quality Is Verified

“Lab-tested” means nothing without specifics. Here are the specifics — the tests, who runs them, and how they reach you.

"Lab-tested" is easy to print on a label. What actually matters is which tests, run by whom, and whether the results travel with the exact vial you receive. Here's how research-peptide quality is genuinely verified — and what we hold our material to.

1. Purity — measured by HPLC

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) separates a sample into its components and measures the target peptide as a percentage of the whole. The research-grade benchmark serious vendors hit is 98–99%+. A high purity number means very little else is in the vial competing with your results.

2. Identity — confirmed by mass spectrometry

Purity alone isn't enough. Mass spectrometry confirms the compound is actually the peptide it claims to be, by matching its molecular weight to the known value. Purity without identity is meaningless — you want both on the report.

3. Contaminants — endotoxin & sterility where it applies

For many research applications, endotoxin and sterility testing matter. Vendors who take documentation seriously publish these figures rather than hoping no one asks.

4. In-house and independent testing

The strongest quality programs test twice: internal quality control on every batch, plus verification by an independent third-party lab. Third-party results carry more weight precisely because the lab has nothing to sell you. Our material is produced through a lab that uses both in-house and third-party testing.

5. A batch-specific COA on every lot

All of the above lands on a certificate of analysis tied to the exact lot number on your vial. A generic COA that could describe anything is a red flag; a batch-specific one is the receipt for everything on this page. (New here? Our plain-English COA walkthrough shows you exactly what to look for.)

6. Handling & storage

Most peptides ship lyophilized (freeze-dried) because the dry powder is stable far longer than a solution. Kept cool and dry, and reconstituted correctly for the research protocol, the material stays true to its tested spec. Good handling protects the quality you paid for.

Our standard: pharmaceutical-grade material, HPLC purity + mass-spec identity, in-house and third-party testing, a batch-specific COA on every lot, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If anything isn't right, we make it right. For research use only.
